A Call for Proposals for Experiential Workshops and Presentations
for the NZAC Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Arts Therapy Process for the therapeutic treatment setting is to be held at Auckland University’s Tamaki campus. Contact Agnès Sigley before 30th March 2017.
Creative Therapies Association Aotearoa | CTAA in association with NZAC and ANZATA, is pleased to offer a day for the members of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, to introduce the arts therapies in practice for NZAC CPD.
This will provide counsellors with a series of interactive creative experiences, including simple arts processes to integrate into their counselling sessions with adults, children and/or youth.
The arts modalities are the Visual Arts in therapy, Drama Therapy, Music Therapy, Dance and Movement Therapy, Sand-Play and Symbol Work, and the Arts in an expressive multi-modal therapy.
The workshops will present evidence-based practice concepts and/or research that presenters have published, or are in the process of publishing.
The presenters will have at least one professional registration with ANZATA, MNZAC, and/or NZAP, and practice independently or for an established health and/or social care organization in New Zealand. Each workshop will be 75 minutes.
